Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.88 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in Spain (Colonia Patricia?), circa 18-17/6 BC. Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS Capricorn to right, holding globe attached to rudder between front hooves and bearing cornucopiae on back. BMC 305 ('Emerita'). CBN 1271. Cohen 21. RIC 126. Lustrous and with a lovely portrait. Light die wear and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good extremely fine.
